Israel presses Gaza offensive, seizes large amounts of weapons
Friday, 22 December 2023 Israel continues offensive against Hamas, uncovering and destroying rocket launchers and other weapons in Gaza. Troops found a Hamas weapons warehouse in the central Gaza village of Jahar al-Dikh. In Gaza City, large numbers of weapons were discovered inside a house next to a kindergarten. Soldiers also found a rocket launcher ready for use aimed towards Israel. In Khan Yunis, soldiers uncovered weapons and combat equipment inside a residential home. The IDF also carried out raids on a school in Al Shati, finding weapons and maps belonging to Hamas.
