Paula Abdul accuses 'American Idol' producer Nigel Lythgoe of sexual assault in lawsuit

Paula Abdul accuses Nigel Lythgoe of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles. Abdul alleges that Lythgoe assaulted her during her time as a judge on 'American Idol' and 'So You Think You Can Dance.' She claims that the first assault occurred in a hotel elevator while they were filming auditions for 'American Idol.' Abdul also accuses Lythgoe of taunting her about the assaults. The lawsuit was filed before the deadline of a California law.
