Pakistan senate Oks non-binding resolution to delay February 8 poll

Intelligence agencies have warned of terror attacks on poll rallies in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and southwestern Balochistan provinces. The session was adjourned indefinitely by the Senate chairman following the vote. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party abstained from voting.
