Anders Behring Breivik, the far-right fanatic who killed 77 people in a bombing and shooting rampage in Norway in 2011, appeared in a court hearing in his prison to challenge the human rights violation of his years in isolation. Breivik, wearing a black suit, entered the high-security jail courtroom and sat silently as his lawyer argued that his detention conditions were inhumane. The lawyer emphasized that Breivik has been isolated for about 12 years and is living in a completely locked world, resulting in a deep depression. Breivik is also requesting the court to lift restrictions on his outside correspondence.
