Cold weather claims life of 36 children in Pakistan; authorities ban morning assemblies in school: Official

Morning assemblies have been banned in schools until Jan 31, and vacation has been announced until Jan 19 for nursery, prep, and playgroup classes. Officials have issued health directions for children to prevent pneumonia, including wearing masks, washing hands, and using warm clothes. Pneumonia cases are rising in Punjab, with 8 out of 10 children affected in Lahore's Children's Hospital.
