Canadian court slams Trudeau for overreaching in quelling truckers' protests
Wednesday, 24 January 2024

The court stated that there was no national emergency warranting the invocation of the Emergencies Act. Trudeauβs government, for its part, said its invocation of the act was necessary because the protests had turned into an illegal occupation.
