Swedish power demand may rise 150% by 2045, grid operator projects

The Swedish government aims to have 10 new reactors, including small modular reactors (SMRs), in operation by 2045. To meet the projected increase in power demand, Sweden would need to add an average of 7.5 TWh of new power generation per year over the next 20 years.
