16-year-old convicted killers of transgender teenager in England named in court ahead of sentencing
Friday, 2 February 2024 16-year-old convicted killers of a transgender teenager in northwest England nearly a year ago were named in court on Friday after the judge in the case lifted a ban on reporting their identities. Justice Amanda Yip lifted the restrictions on the naming of Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe during a sentencing hearing at Manchester Crown Court.
The family of Brianna Ghey arrive at Manchester Crown Court as two teenagers convicted of murdering the teenager are sentenced. The 16-year-old killers were revealed as Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe, after the judge lifted an anonymity order.
