'Philippines ready to use 'forces' to quell any secession attempt'

The Philippine government is ready to use "authority and forces" to prevent secession attempts by Rodrigo Duterte, who wants to separate Mindanao from the rest of the country. The government's peace deal with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in the Bangsamoro region could be jeopardized. Duterte accused President Ferdinand Marcos Jr of using constitutional change to stay in power.
