Brazil President Lula's compares Gaza war to 'Holocaust'; Israel responds
Monday, 19 February 2024 Israel condemned Brazilian President Lula da Silva's remarks comparing the Israel's operations in the Gaza Strip to the holocaust and calling it a genocide. Israel PM said, he has "crossed a red line by trivializing the Holocaust and trying to harm the Jewish people and Israel's right to defend itself." Israeli PM and foreign minister also summoned Brazil ambassador for a "stern reprimand".
