US conducted self-defence strike in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, military says

The United States conducted a self-defense strike against an Iranian-backed Houthi missile prepared to launch towards the Red Sea, posing a threat to US aircraft. The missile was an anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) launched at 10:46 p.m. (Sanaa time). The Houthi attacks, part of the Middle East conflict, support the Palestinian people in response to Israel's attacks on Gaza.
