PPP's Sarfraz Bugti elected Balochistan chief minister

Sarfraz Bugti, a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, has been elected unopposed as the new chief minister of Balochistan province. He enjoys the support of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Ali Amin Gandapur will be sworn in as the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. No other candidate filed nomination papers till 5pm on Friday.
