Turkey to discuss 'common understanding' on security with Iraq: Report

Turkish officials led by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will engage in talks with Iraqi counterparts in Baghdad on Thursday to address security concerns, focusing on Turkey's operations against the PKK in Iraq. This "security summit" will also include Defence Minister Yasar Guler and intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin. Ankara has ramped up cross-border operations against the PKK which is based in northern Iraq's mountainous regions.
