Pakistan HC suspends ex-PM Imran Khan's sentence in Toshakhana case
Monday, 1 April 2024 Islamabad High Court has temporarily halted the imprisonment of Pakistan's ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in a state gift case, as per Geo News. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq mentioned that the appeal against their sentencing will be scheduled for a hearing post the Eid holidays. The couple had received a 14-year jail term in the Toshakhana case from an anti-corruption court in Islamabad.
