Dutch woman chooses euthanasia due to mental health issues including borderline personality disorder

Zoraya ter Beek, a Dutch woman, opted for euthanasia in May due to a lifelong mental health struggle. The 28-year-old woman is living with her boyfriend, whom she loves, and with two cats. She has a dying 'tree of life' tattoo on her arm. Currently, euthanasia acceptance is increasing, with 8,720 deaths in the Netherlands in 2022.
