Volcano erupts in Mount Ibu island of Eastern Indonesia, sending ash tower into the sky

Officials in eastern Indonesia issued warnings after Mount Ibu erupted, sending ash over two miles high. The eruption, lasting over three minutes, occurred on Halmahera island. Despite the alert level remaining at two, precautions were advised, including staying two kilometers away from the crater. Indonesia's frequent volcanic activity poses risks to residents and travelers.
