Floods in southern Brazil kill 55, force 70,000 from homes

At least 55 individuals have lost their lives due to severe floods and mudslides in southern Brazil, prompting nearly 70,000 residents to evacuate their homes, as reported by the country's civil defense agency on Saturday. The catastrophic flooding has also left 74 people injured, with an additional 67 individuals reported as missing, according to civil defense authorities.
