Afghan Taliban govt says to attend third round of UN-hosted Doha talks

Taliban authorities will participate in the third round of United Nations-hosted talks on Afghanistan in Qatar's capital. A government spokesman informed AFP on Sunday about this decision, marking a shift from the previous round, which they avoided. Mujahid stated to local media on Sunday that sending a delegation was considered advantageous for Afghanistan. The specific members of the delegation will be announced in due time.
