US couple rescued by helicopter in Southern California desert after dehydration scare
Monday, 17 June 2024 A couple stranded in the USA's Southern California desert near Joshua Tree National Park were rescued by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office after the man called 911, reporting his girlfriend's weakness and dehydration during their hike. A helicopter team located the pair on June 9, huddled together in a dry creek bed in the Painted Canyon area.
