11 migrants dead, 64 missing in two shipwrecks off Italy; Pak, Bangladesh nat'ls on board

A tragic incident off southern Italy resulted in the death of 11 migrants and 64 missing. German charity RESQSHIP rescued 51 individuals from a sinking wooden boat, including survivors from Syria, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, and Iraq. Survivors were handed over to the Italian coast guard. UN agencies confirmed the migrants' nationalities and a woman's body was recovered.
