Juneteenth 2024 holiday: The stock market will remain closed on June 19 (Wednesday) for Juneteenth 2024 and so are the banks and the post offices but major restaurants, grocery and retail store chains will function normally on this federal holiday, observed as the nation's second Independence Day. Target, Walmart, Starbucks, Costco will keep their doors open, the USA Today reported.
