Sunday, 30 June 2024 () A 13-year-old boy carrying a "realistic appearing" replica firearm has died after being shot by police in New York state, US authorities have said.
US police have released bodycam footage that shows officers fatally shooting a 13-year-old boy in Utica, New York. Nyah Mway, a refugee from Myanmar, was running from officers while holding a pellet gun before he was tackled, punched and shot at point-blank range.
Justin Timberlake has been arrested. According to ABC News and CNN the pop singer has been arrested by local police in Sag Harbor, New York for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The arrest in the Hamptons took place on Monday night and Timberlake is expected to make a court appearance on Tuesday facing a DWI charge. The incident comes a day after the singer posted a sweet Father's Day message on his Instagram.

Sources say he was partying at the
American Hotel before getting behind the wheel.
He reportedly blew a stop sign
in front of police, so they
began to follow him.
The police say Timberlake's car was
swerving, so they pulled him over.
A field sobriety test was conducted,
which Timberlake reportedly failed. .
He refused to take a
breathalyzer test, sources say. .
Timberlake was later "arraigned and
released without bail," TMZ reports. .
His next court date is
scheduled for July 26.
Timberlake is currently on tour.
His next shows are scheduled for
June 21 and June 22 in Chicago
