Most patients have fled European Gaza Hospital: WHO
Wednesday, 3 July 2024 () Almost all patients at the European Gaza Hospital and the Red Cross field hospital fled following Israeli military evacuation orders, according to the WHO. The evacuation orders affected the southern Gaza areas of Khan Yunis and Rafah, near the Egyptian border. The World Health Organization reported that on Monday, 270 patients and medical staff self-evacuated. On Tuesday, the Gaza health ministry continued the evacuation of more patients.
Patients were evacuated from a Khan Younis hospital in southern Gaza after an overnight strike killed nine people nearby in an Israeli-designated evacuation zone.
