Watch: Escalator fire at New York's JFK Airport prompts temporary evacuation
Wednesday, 24 July 2024 On Wednesday morning, a fire broke out on an escalator at John F. Kennedy International Airport's Terminal 8 in New York, resulting in a brief evacuation of the area. Fire department officials in New York stated that the fire was reported at approximately 7 am. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
