Russia offers 2 lakh rubles as signing bonus to fight Ukraine war

Russia offered financial incentives, including a 195,000 ruble signing bonus and monthly salaries up to 400,000 rubles, to attract new military recruits. The government also appealed to patriotism. This effort aims to counteract manpower shortages amidst ongoing military operations in Ukraine since February 2022.
