'If a leader leaves, another will arise': Hamas chief Haniyeh's last words before assassination in Israeli strike

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in an Israeli strike in Tehran after quoting a Koranic verse to Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei. His death marks the third assassination of a Hamas leader by Israel in two decades. Haniyeh advocated resistance against Israel and strengthened Hamas' ties with Iran to bolster military capabilities.
