US Supreme Court declines to lift Trump’s gag order in hush money case

IndiaTimes Monday, 5 August 2024 ()
The Supreme Court rejected Missouri's request to delay Donald Trump's sentencing and lift a gag order before the 2024 election. Trump was found guilty in May of falsifying business records to conceal a payment of $130,000 made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, in exchange for her silence regarding a sexual encounter she claimed to have had with Trump in the past, prior to the 2016 US election.
