Iran’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Iraj Elahi, has condemned the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, attributing it to Israel. Elahi criticized ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon, highlighted the severe humanitarian impact with thousands dead and wounded, and accused the U.S. of supporting these actions. Elahi emphasized Iran’s right to retaliate and urged India, given its significant influence and relations with Israel, to use its power to help end the crisis and promote peace in the region.
