New York City experiences light rain and winds as Debby moves towards Northeastern America

Northern Pennsylvania and Southern New York experienced flash floods due to Tropical Storm Debby, which initially hit Florida’s Gulf Coast as a category 1 hurricane. Officials ordered evacuations in parts of Pennsylvania, but some were lifted by evening. The storm caused disruptions, including flight delays, but New York City saw diminished rainfall impact compared to other regions.
