OpenAI took down accounts of an Iranian group using ChatGPT to generate content for US election influence. The operation, known as Storm-2035, focused on election commentary, the Gaza conflict, and Israel at the Olympics. Investigations showed minimal engagement with the content. Accounts were banned, and OpenAI continues to monitor for policy violations.
