Thailand postpones BIMSTEC summit until after new government formed, foreign ministry says

Thailand has postponed hosting the BIMSTEC summit originally scheduled for September 3-4 until a new administration is formed. The delay follows the court's dismissal of the previous premier, with the successor yet to name her cabinet. The BIMSTEC involves leaders from seven South Asian nations, including Thailand, India, and Myanmar, who meet biennially.
