First prisoner exchange since Ukraine's offensive in Russia: 230 soldiers return home

Russia and Ukraine exchanged 115 prisoners each after mediation by the United Arab Emirates, marking the first swap since Ukraine's recent military operations in Russian territory. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy shared images of released soldiers, while the Russian defense ministry detailed the return of servicemen from the Kursk region. Both countries thanked the UAE for facilitating the exchange.
