Bangladesh interim govt revokes Sheikh Hasina's ban on Jamaat-e-Islami

Bangladesh's interim government has lifted the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing, Islami Chhatra Shibir, asserting no involvement in terrorist activities. The ban, enforced by the Awami League government, has been revoked due to insufficient evidence. Jamaat's leader criticized the Awami League for institution destruction ahead of national polls.
