Former detective Matthew Farwell charged with murdering pregnant woman and staging it as suicide
Thursday, 29 August 2024 () Matthew Farwell, a former police detective in Massachusetts, stands accused of murdering Sandra Birchmore to conceal their illicit relationship. Initially misjudged as a suicide, her death revealed signs of violence after further investigation. Farwell allegedly staged the scene and maintained an inappropriate relationship with Birchmore.
