North Korea allegedly executes 30 government officials for flood failures

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is reported to have executed at least 30 officials for their failure to prevent devastating summer floods that killed thousands. The North Korean Central News Agency confirmed Kim's orders for strict punishment. Despite offers of aid from neighboring countries, North Korea has refused assistance.
