Watch: Boeing’s Starliner returns to earth without astronauts
Saturday, 7 September 2024 () Boeing's Starliner capsule returned to Earth without astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who remain on the ISS due to technical issues. The spacecraft faced thruster malfunctions and propulsion system leaks, causing NASA to delay their return until February 2025. Boeing will investigate these problems for future missions.
SpaceX will instead bring Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore back in late February, stretching their original eight-day mission to more than eight months.
