The death toll from flooding in central Europe rose to at least eight on Sunday (September 15) as thousands of people were evacuated from their homes in Czech Republic following days of torrential rain that caused rivers to burst their banks in several parts of the region.
Heavy rains from Storm Boris have caused widespread flooding across several countries, with the Czech Republic declaring the highest flood warnings in 100 places.
