Top Hezbollah commander Ahmed Wahbi killed in Israeli strike
Hezbollah reported that its top commander Ahmed Wahbi was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut suburbs. The strike also took out Ibrahim Aqil, head of Hezbollah's Radwan unit. In retaliation, Hezbollah fired rockets into northern Israel. This escalation follows Hamas's attack on October 7 and has now reached Lebanon.
