Over 30,000 crossed into Syria from Lebanon in past days, says UN
Friday, 27 September 2024 Over the past 72 hours, more than 30,000 individuals, primarily Syrians, have crossed into Syria from Lebanon due to an intensifying conflict between Israeli forces and Hezbollah. The UN refugee agency indicates that approximately half of these refugees are children and adolescents. Women are making the crossing in greater numbers compared to men.
