Sunday, 8 December 2024 () NYPD divers searched Central Park's lake for the murder weapon used in the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. A backpack belonging to the suspect was found, but the weapon and electric bicycle remain missing. Investigators believe the suspect, who arrived from Atlanta, has fled the city by bus.
