Garland Gandhi wore on Dandi March fails to attract buyers at London auction

A garland worn by Mahatma Gandhi during the 1930 Salt March failed to sell at a London auction. The garland, from the collection of Gandhi's personal physician, was estimated at £20,000-£30,000. While the garland didn't find a buyer, other Indian art pieces in the auction saw strong sales, indicating a buoyant market.
