Wednesday, 18 December 2024 () Голландский надзорный орган оштрафовал компанию Netflix (США) на 4,75 миллиона евро (5 миллионов долларов) за нарушение конфиденциальности данных пользователей. По результатам расследования "выяснилось, что Netflix не предоставил клиентам чёткой информации в своём заявлении о конфиденциальности" о том, как компания обрабатывала их данные в период с 2018 по 2020 год, сообщает Bloomberg со ссылкой на Агентство по защите данных Нидерландов. "У крупных технологических компаний так много персональных данных о людях, что иногда они незаконно обмениваются ими с другими фирмами. Кроме того, клиенты не получали достаточной информации, когда спрашивали Netflix, какие данные компания собирает о них", — рассказал Алеид Вольфсен, председатель голландского управления по защите данных.
