Over 5 square miles of land were scorched, homes were destroyed, and thousands were forced to evacuate. High winds, dry weather, and soaring temperatures created the perfect conditions for the fires, which disrupted daily life and left residents fearing for their safety.
Stars and public figures came together in Los Angeles on Thursday for the FireAid wildfire benefit concert, which supported relief for the wildfires that tore through the city in January.
