King to attend 80th anniversary of Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation
Monday, 13 January 2025 () The King will travel to Poland to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
The surprise visit comes a day after Pistorius met with his counterparts from France, the UK, Italy and Poland to discuss coordinating their defence plans and assistance for Ukraine.
