Indonesia's Prabowo, Turkey's Erdogan agree to bolster ties

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Bogor to strengthen trade and defense ties, signing multiple agreements, including a joint drone manufacturing deal. The leaders discussed global issues like Syria and Palestine while aiming to boost trade to $10 billion annually. This visit builds on growing ties, including Indonesia’s 2023 purchase of 12 Turkish drones.
