Romanian court upholds the ban on far-right Georgescu's presidential bid

A top Romanian court upheld a ban on far-right politician Calin Georgescu's candidacy in the upcoming presidential rerun. The Constitutional Court rejected his appeal following electoral violations and a coordinated online campaign by Russia. Georgescu's supporters protested the decision, which could further escalate political tensions in Romania. The rerun's first round is scheduled for May 4.
