Wednesday, 12 March 2025 () Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire in its war with Russia. But there's still no response from Russia to the proposal, which is being brokered by the Trump administration.

Ukraine agreed to a month-long ceasefire only if Russia abides by it, Kyiv said. Although Moscow's stance on the proposal is rather unclear, the Kremlin's demands have always been known.

Putin’s ‘Incomplete’ Ceasefire Response. Trump has raised concerns over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s stance on a proposed Ukraine ceasefire, calling it “promising… but not complete.” Speaking alongside NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte at the White House, Trump emphasized the urgency of ending the war, stating, “I’d love to talk to him (Putin), but we have to get it over with fast. Every day, people are being killed.”
His remarks come as U.S. officials are in Moscow trying to broker a truce, but Putin has expressed reservations, insisting that key Russian conditions must be met. While Moscow claims to support the ceasefire "in theory," the Kremlin’s undisclosed demands could significantly impact the negotiations.
