Bosnian Serb leader back in Sarajevo after arrest attempt
Thursday, 24 April 2025 () Milorad Dodik, wanted on secession charges, returned to the Serb portion of Sarajevo after federal police hesitated to arrest him fearing conflict with Bosnian Serb forces. Dodik, defying an arrest warrant, accused the federal police of violating Republika Srpska laws. Christian Schmidt suspended government aid to Dodik's party following his rejection of a court ruling.
