'A disgrace': Protesters condemned as ceremonies marking Anzac Day held around the world
Friday, 25 April 2025 () Protesters who disrupted Anzac Day commemorations in Australia have been branded "a disgrace", as ceremonies take place across the world.
The Duchess of Edinburgh attended a Thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey marking Anzac Day. The service was one of a string of events attended by Sophie, after she visited the Australian War Memorial at Hyde Park Corner early Friday morning. Sophie was representing King Charles III at the commemorations marking the sacrifices of Australian and New Zealand forces.
