We continue to track breaking news out of rochester where a police officer was shot in the head.
New information now as the officer has been identified 36-year old jeremy nash, an officer for 11 years with department.
According to wroc-tv, nash was taken to rochester general hospital and is expected to recover.
It happened around 10:45 last night on the north side of rochester.
No suspects are in custody as police continue a massive search.
